Safeguarding for Birth Workers
Thank you for looking at the UK’s first Safeguarding for Birth Workers training. Every Birth Matters is an education provider for antenatal educators and doulas.
The aim of this workshop is to help you develop an awareness of and the ability to act on concerns about the safety and welfare of children and young people. All Doula's working with parents and their families can access this training to ensure that they are able to fulfil their role and responsibility to safeguard children and adults within families they are working with. This training can be updated once every three years in line with statutory guidance.
The activities have been created in a way for you to explore safeguarding, gain knowledge of your responsibility and increase confidence for dealing with any safeguarding concerns you may have.
I hope you never have to deal with a safeguarding concern, however if on the odd chance you do wouldn’t you want to know WHAT will be expected of you. It is in your best interests that you are prepared for the IF occasion. My course will help you
